Meet Jacky Dahlhaus

Hi Everybody,

Thank you for popping over to this page to find out a bit more about me.

I live in the beautiful countryside of north-eastern Scotland. My house looks out over a paddock of sheep and the iconic Bennachie hills range.

I have finished writing two of the three vampire romance novels of the Suckers Trilogy. The second book, ‘Raising A Vampire,’ has just been revamped and will be re-published in August. I’m hoping to have ‘Killing A Vampire’ out by the end of the year.

The three stories are set in Maine, US, as I love that countryside. The colors during fall are so beautiful.

In November 2015, I joined a local writers’ club and with them, I write short stories of about one thousand words each with them. You can find them under the heading ‘Short Stories’ at the top of the page.

I love blogging although I admit I don’t have too much time for it. Renovating our Victorian home takes up a lot of my time, apart from seeing to my family and trying to write my books. My blogs are mainly writer-related. I do watch a lot of movies though, so apart from book reviews, author interviews, and updates on my writing, I also write movie reviews. Now and again I do a guest blog on other people’s blog and will let you know when and where this happens.

In February 2016, I started Aberdeenshire Film Productions. I have the role of writer, producer, director in the group and together we try and film short stories. It is a lot of fun. One of my vampire stories that we filmed, called ‘Busted!’ is being screened at the Inverness Film Festival (2017). I am so excited about that! By the way, the above image of myself at the top was taken during this shoot. I was the vampire 😀 .

When you sign up for my newsletter, I will send you news on exclusive materialpromotions, and new releases of my books.

I wish you happy reading!

With kind regards,

Jacky Dahlhaus
