Thank you for popping over to this page to find out a bit more about me.
At the moment I live in the beautiful countryside of north-eastern Scotland. My house looks out over a paddock of sheep and the iconic Bennachie (pronounced ‘Bennahy’) hills range.
I’ve only lived here since 2014 and have moved many times before, fourteen times in total if I count correctly. I started my nomadic existence before I turned one when I moved from Australia to The Netherlands. I have also lived in England and France. It may not come as a surprise that I love traveling and am in need of a change of scenery every so often.
I write paranormal romance novels. Why? Because I love reading books about people who live life to the fullest, and I’m assuming you do so as well. I love falling in love, and every time I write one of my novels, I fall in love all over again along with my characters. It is a wonderful feeling when they see how wonderful life can be. There are tragic moments too, of course, but that makes the good times even better!
Am I qualified to write romances? I don’t know? You tell me! 😀 My mother always told me not to settle for second best, so I had eleven boyfriends before I settled for my husband. We’ve been together for almost thirty years now, so I guess I made the right choice! We are still in a loving relationship after so many years. It’s had its ups and downs, but we’ve made it through the hard times and the relationship is stronger for it.
Why do I write about paranormal creatures? Why not? LOL! I just love the extra possibilities that they have. I would have loved to be able to shapeshift or live forever. Wouldn’t you? My characters all remain human in their emotions, though. If you’ve read any of my stories, you’d know that they are more about the human side of the characters, their romances and friendships, than anything else. Yes, they’re adult stories as they contain sex scenes and cursing, but they’re not erotica. The stories still hold if you take the sex scenes out of the stories. If you’re looking for super-steamy and hot stories where the main characters remain shallow and just fall from one romp into the other, then maybe my stories are not for you 🙂 .
The Suckers Trilogy is set in Maine, US, as I love that countryside. The colors during the fall are so beautiful. I’ve never been there, but it’s on my bucket list of places to visit!
As I’m trying to earn a little bit extra (being a writer doesn’t pay my bills quite yet), I’ve become an affiliate member of Amazon recently. The links to books and movies and whatnot are affiliate links, and hopefully, you don’t mind clicking on them. You don’t pay anything extra for it, but I earn a small percentage when you do decide to buy something through my links.
You probably have seen the subscribe option already on the Home page, but I don’t want you to miss out. When you sign up to my email list, I will send you news on exclusive material, freebies, and early notification of new releases of my books. Why not give it a try?
